A Robert Cromeans Salon

Unique to the hair salon is an open air Color Bar  where they celebrate... color. I get my hair highlighted quite a bit. There is some things you need to understand 1. My hair is very baby soft fine 2. It shrieks into tiny little fuzzies any & every time I put any kind of bleach on it 3. Arcs allowed me to love healthy and shiny blond locks at the same time with their absolutely wonderful Paul Mitchel hair color. The color is always perfect and my hair is always baby soft. The Wash House named after Robert’s first salon, is a true indulgence of water, complete with a menu of Beauty Rituals that took my experience to the next level. This is where they take you and wash you up. The dimmed lighted room is accompanied with instrumentals that completely sooth the life out of you. I saved the best for last, The back and neck massage. I have to tell you guys, the sound effects I make most likely do not sound all that appropriate. BUT I CAN'T HELP IT! Adding a 15 minute massage to the package was brilliant. Well done CORD.

Now... Go to Arcs and tell them I referred you. I may or may not get twenty dollars off if you do ;-)
I went to Kaitlyn  (It's in the same shopping center as Barnes and noble across Woodland Hills on 71st (In Tulsa) sorry all my foreign friends)

Love Month

Well it’s officially the month of February. My brain doesn’t want to believe but my phone says it is. To celebrate this beautiful love month, I had to Handle some business. My hair was in desperate need of tender loving care and sometimes extra highlights, a nice neck massage and a happy smile are all you need to feel like yourself again. And did you forget about Valentines day. I do have some sweet sweet girls that deserve some extra tender loving care on their handmade valentines. It’s time to do a crafty roundup. I’ve got some ideas and I can’t wait to post about them. Happy sweet February readers, happy sweet Tuesday!

How to Change a Flat Tire

  1. Slowly get out of car to avoid flattening remaining 3 tires.
  2. Stare blankly into trunk for 15 minutes.
  3. Worry about being late for work. Remember that it’s Saturday.
  4. Check glove compartment to see if those Cheetos are still there.
  5. Enjoy Cheetos if available. (note: ration appropriately)
  6. Remind yourself about flat tire.
  7. Look into trunk for another 10 minutes.
  8. Lean against car & weep softly.
  9. Think about going home & Googling pictures of puppies when this is all over.
  10. Call Dad

Weekend Scenes

& a happy happy Friday it was. I celebrated how happy it was at P.F. Changs with my neighbors then came back and lounged until I fell asleep. It was such a good break from my busy week schedule.

I needed this Saturday. I woke up early, went running (high hopes for the half marathon at the end of the month!!) did a fresh load of laundry and ate breakfast at Starbucks while I read. It was the most productive Saturday ever. I was unstoppable.

In celebration of my sweet sweet friends (Erica) birthday, we took full advantage of this beautiful weather we have been getting and went paint balling. We seriously got out there and played an intense game against grown men with children twice our age. My girls were army crawling from tire to guard wall in hot pink hoodies. We couldn't have laughed any longer or harder.
Then we watched basketball. It wasn't fun.
Then we stopped and ate at the birthday girls newsest food obsession "Elote" It is the best organic Mexican food I ever put in my body.
I loved hanging out with my best friends. How lucky am I? Here are some peeks.

I woke up this beautiful Sunday morning refreshed and excited. God is such a great comforter and friend. Get intimate with Him. It is the most important thing you will ever do.

I'm excited for a new week. It's gonna be a good one.

Thrifting Thursday

Wednesday, January 25, 2012

Starbucks asked what size & I said “small’ & he said “tall?” and & said “small” and he said “tall” & I said “small” and he said “ok” & then we hugged.
Since my new favorite hobby is reading all day every.single.day (my little nook is my newest daily companion) Here are some books that I would love to read in the next couple months, but I am totally open to suggestions so if you have any good reads you would like to share let me know!

Happy Happy Wednesday! I had a very low key day. The weather was amazing! A light cardigan over a long sleeve kept me dressed. So far I have used every hour of this day. Woke up at 6 am and ran for an hour. Came back and took a longer shower than I anticipated which made me feel rushed so I missed my 7:50 Biology lecture. I treated myself to an hour nap before my next class. My body loved me. Chapel was excellent...as always. Painting was difficult but satisfying. Painting a still life in color...due Wednesday. Now I'm having coffee. I plan to sit here until my day is over and read books. Hope everyone enjoys their weeks. Hugs and cheek pecks.

Healthy Eats.

My Body is going to love me today.

Good Morning

I walk down into Claudius work out room when the desk attendent says, “WHAT, TWO DAYS IN A ROW?” Great, thanks BARB, maybe next time we can discuss how I drool in my sleep, have Justin Beiber on my ipod, cry during movie previews, check Twitter 572 times a day, and other things I’m not ashamed of.
